Knitting and me

These days I had a time thinking about how knitting affects my life.

Since 2012 I have designed what I like. My original knitting designs are published at
LoveCrafts.com.
For example, I love full of cabled clothes, so I designed Classical Cable, Cosy Cable Jacket and Dank U cardi.

When I feel like something asymmetrical clothes, I designed My wish, My wish dress and bamboo sweater.

The image source can be found anywhere, unlimited, like from the website, magazine, movie etc.

Sometimes I design for my daughter and sometimes she designs her own knitwears.
She is my very good co-worker, she drew sketches, and I knit them into the real.
Thus we made Dream Dress and Jewelry box.
I think it's really wonderful I can do something special for her.

My knitting life started around 2010, when my daughter was born. At that time we were living in China and I was searching something to do additionally taking care of my baby.
Knitting became a part of my life soon because it was very practical hobby.
Knitting needles are safe, yarns are very light to handle with and I can do it anywhere I like.

When I learnt how to work top down and work in the round with the circular needle for the first time,
I was so surprised that how easily the garment was done without annoying seaming.
Since then I started designing some garments for myself and my daughter.

Then we moved to the Netherlands in 2013 due to my husband's job.
We were really happy staying there and lived about 4yrs.
We love travelling around in Europe by car. So knitting was really nice to do with during the journey.
I felt very happy especially when I sit down on a beach sofa and knit something
while my husband and my daughter playing at the beach.

Now we are back in Japan. And my knitting journey goes on with my lovely family.
I am so lucky I could find my lifework that fulfils myself.
